Delta State Civil Service Commission Conducts Promotion Execise.
On May 21, 2024, the Civil Service Commission diligently carried out one of its statutory functions by conducting interviews for promotions across various offices and salary grade levels.
The following offices actively participated in the interview process:
Office of the Head of Service (Administrative Officers)
Directorate of Establishment and Pensions
Office of the Accountant General
Office of the Head of Service – Other cadres in the Governor’s Office and Fire Service
Delta State Internal Revenue Service
Directorate of Transport
Ministry of Information
Ministry of Energy
The Civil Service Commission’s role is instrumental in ensuring merit-based appointments and promotions within the civil service, thereby maintaining the integrity and efficiency of government operations. These interviews serve as a significant stepping stone in identifying and promoting deserving candidates within essential government offices, aligning with His Excellency Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori’s MORE agenda.
