Former Corps Members that served the State Ministry of Information have been charged to be good ambassadors of the Ministry and Delta State wherever they may find themselves.
The Delta State Information Commissioner, Mr. Charles Aniagwu, gave this charge in his Office while addressing the ex corps members who paid him a thank you visit.
Mr. Aniagwu urged them not to put all their hope in getting white-collar job but to put into practice the skills acquired during their service year, while praying for a better tomorrow. He further urged them to be humble noting that humility opens doors for greater rewards.
Responding on behalf of the ex Corps members, the former Corpers Liaison Officer, Mr. Udeh Prince Chidera, stated that they had to pay the thank you visit because the Commissioner took them as his children, provided for them as well as ensured that their stay was memorable.
He urged the Commissioner to continue to exhibit his sterling leadership quality, which caused him to stand him out among other leaders noting that the Commissioner sacrificially ensured that they were well taken care of.
Mr. Udeh said that they would always cherish their stay in Delta State especially the Ministry and promised to apply the admonition of the Commissioner to their lives.
Seventeen former Corps members that served in the Ministry were sent off during the occasion.
