Charles Aniagwu was born in September, 1972 and hails from Akumazi in Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State.

He holds a National Diploma in Mass Communication, a Higher National Diploma in Mass Communication, a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Administration, and he is presently pursuing a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management.
He is also a Member of two (2) professional bodies, Institute of Chartered Mediators and National Institute of Public Relations.
Charles Aniagwu has been in the Media Profession for over twenty (20) years with special interest in perception management and he has done so to the envy of all.
He was Political Correspondent with DBN TV; National Assembly Correspondent with DAAR Communication Pic; Producer/Presenter, Political Platform, RayPower FM.
In 2015, Charles was appointed Chief Press Secretary to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State, and was reappointed to the same position in 2019 where he served briefly before moving to the Ministry of Information, also in 2019, as the Honorable Commissioner for Information, where he served until 18th of May, 2021.
On the 1st of July, 2021, he was again sworn in as a Member of the Delta State Executive Council as the Honorable Commissioner for Information.
This is an attestation to the fact that he is visionary, creative and diligent in the discharge of his assigned responsibilities. At his chosen career, he has excelled and one can only tell that the sky is the starting point for him.
He is a Christian and is married with children.
