The newly sworn-in Commissioner for Directorate of Humanitarian and Community Support Services, Dr. Darlington Ijeh has assured members staff of the Directorate of his resolve to operate an open door policy in the Directorate.
He made this known today in Asaba as he addressed top management of the Directorate of Humanitarian and Community Support Services on his assumption of office .
“We are going to operate an open door policy in this Directorate because we need to work like brothers and sisters” he added.
Dr. Ijeh posited that he would welcome any problem solving suggestions and contributions from all and sundry and charged the members of staff to be result oriented in that as a baby Directorate, they are the cynosure of all eyes.
“All eyes are on you people. All eyes are on us and we need to make sure we deliver and finish stronger than every other Ministry ” he added.
The Commissioner further admonished members of staff to desist from acts that are enimical to achieving the mandates of the Directorate in other to boost the achievement of Governor Okowa-led administration’s mantra ‘Prosperity for All Deltans’.
Earlier, the Functioning Permanent Secretary, Dr. Chuks Nwani on behalf of the Directorate welcomed the Commissioner and his team.
Present in the meeting were Mr. Stanley Rapu, Director Humanitarian Support Services, Mr. Emiro Nelson, Director of Finance / Account, Mrs. Thecla Agama, Director Community Support Services and the Functioning Director Planning Research and Statistics Mr. Anthony Ezeadiefe.
